Eddie

Eddie is a handsome gentleman with striking orange and white coloring. Eddie has some chronic health problems, including skin allergies (for which he receives ointment, as needed) and FIV. Cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives but potential adopters tend to shy away from FIV positive cats, and consequently Eddie will most likely remain a permanent resident at Feline Friends.

Eddie was residing at a local animal shelter with another cat, who was his best friend. Eddie’s buddy was adopted, and Eddie, missing the other cat, became very depressed and essentially “shut down.” Feline Friends took him in and his spirits have soared. Eddie adores living with other kitties. If there is cuddling going on amongst the kitties, Eddie and his friend Robyn can generally be found in the middle of the fun. Eddie’s other main interest is wrestling with Skunk, a black and white kitty who keeps Eddie young. Eddie is also very fond of being first in line to use the litter boxes right after they have been cleaned.

Eddie is a spirited fellow who enjoys eating treats, and gets plenty of love from the volunteers. He would love to find a home with other cats, and if he is not adopted, he would appreciate a sponsor who can help defray some of the medical costs associated with his FIV.
