Tiger

Tiger is a true rescue cat; he is FIV positive and the veterinarian that his previous caretaker took him to wanted to euthanize him because of his FIV positive status! Instead of being put down, this big brown polydactyl was neutered and brought to Feline Friends, where we take care of his many medical needs.

In addition to FIV, Tiger is also diabetic. He receives insulin regularly and is on a special diet. He has to be monitored to make sure that his blood sugar levels are acceptable, and thus requires blood tests on a regular basis. He takes up a lot of resources, both financial and time-wise, but this sweet and docile cat is worth all of the effort.

Tiger, a senior cat, is a handsome loveable guy who lights up the room. He loves to cuddle with his best friend, Simon, and take cat-naps several times a day. He is a real chow hound, too! Basically, he is able to live his life as a “regular” cat because of the care that he receives here. The fact that he was almost put down because of his condition means that we have a soft spot for this special boy. With the right health management and medication, this cat has been able to flourish and enjoy his life.

Feline Friends would like to find a sponsor for Tiger who appreciates that no pet should be put down for having a manageable condition.
